The mentorship program through gunnisonmentors.com is a wonderful resource in our community for all youth, and may be especially useful for those who are isolating, struggling to connect with family or peers, or simply needing a new connection.
Both Gunnison and Crested Butte schools have school based therapists in their buildings. Sessions can be arranged through the school for 6th graders and up.
Exploration Kids is a multifaceted program in Gunnison that accepts insurance. They offer occupational therapy, social skills groups, feeding therapy, parent and guardian support, as well as Autism Spectrum related evaluations and support. https://www.explorationtherapy.com/

If you have insurance call them to better understand your out-of-network mental health service benefits, or get a list of therapists in the state of Colorado from them that accept your insurance.
